Welcome to the UK Hill walkers forum & portal.

This forum and portal is dedicated to those of us who find great pleasure walking in the countryside throughout the UK. Whilst this is a UK based walkers community it is of course open to anyone, from any country, who might want to contribute their experiences or obtain a greater insight in to Hill walking and the UK countryside

The portal contains links to internal web pages and external websites that provide information to support our Hill walking community.
The forum, is just that; a place to go, chat, meet like minded people, swap route plans, pass on skills and generally provide our community with help and advice.
 

This community is currently hosted on a FREE to use forum provider, which means that the only overhead is the management, which I'm hoping (as the community grows) that some of its registered members will help with by becoming Moderators. You must register, in order to get proper access to the forum(s); however registration is FREE and you won't have to give your life story to complete the process.

To register (look for this picture & link Register at the top of the portal and forum). You will first need to agree to our terms & conditions of use, then you will be asked to provide a username, password, valid email address (you will receive your activation email through it), location, gender and date of birth, your first name and your favourite place to walk.

Once you're registered and have confirmed your activation email; you will be able to make proper use of the forums, until then you will only be able to read post from a few of the forums.
